1Blocked Drains Perth

Clogged drains are a huge hassle and are one of the most common plumbing problems. In the bathroom or the kitchen, a clogged drain can slow down your day, leave dirty residue behind, and cause many problems around the house. So what’s the solution to a clogged drain? A specialist, industry-leading plumber of course.

For blocked drains in Perth, look no further than Perth Plumbers. We provide quality drain plumbing services, fast response time, and real results. Our work is guaranteed, so you can have peace of mind when you call for our services. We can work around your busy schedule and make sure to walk you through the issues that we’re working on.

FAQ:
Q: How Can I Avoid Clogged Drains?
A: Here’s a few tips from our expert plumbing team to you!

  • Don’t pour grease down your drains. As it cools, it can form hard lumps in your pipes.
  • Use a drain screen in the shower and the kitchen sink to catch debris.

Q: When Should I Call a Plumber for a Clogged Drain?
A: It’s true, there are some clogs that you can fix yourself with a plunger, a snake or some baking soda and vinegar. But, it’s important to know when to call a professional plumber. You don’t want to put yourself, your family or your property at risk because you tried to fix a clog that was beyond your skills. We recommend that you call a plumber if you’re experiencing:

  • Recurring blockages in the same spot — you need professional pipe cleaning!
  • Multiple blockages at once — this is a sign of a greater issue!
  • Foul odor — never, ever deal with a sewage clog yourself!
  • Water flooding — flooding is a sign of sewage backup. Call a professional ASAP!

5hot water plumber

In Perth, any plumber who is licensed by the Perth Plumbers Licensing Board can handle most water heater problems. Our plumbers are trained in all aspects of a water heater. This includes electrical wiring, electric hot water service, piping, heating elements, anode rods, gas lines, gas water heater etc.

A list of the most common hot water plumbing services include:

  • Strange sounds (such as whistling) coming from your water heater
  • Rusty water coming from water heater
  • Low hot water pressure
  • No hot water.
  • Water heater is leaking
  • Pilot light on a gas heater won’t stay lit.

FAQ:
When you turn on your shower in the morning, does it take a long time for hot water to arrive? Does your hot water dribble out of the shower head with little to no pressure? You’re not alone. At Perth Plumbers, here are a few of the most common questions we hear:

Q: Why Does My Water Take So Long To Heat Up?
A: When we see this problem in the Perth area, the most common cause is a long distance between the faucet and the water heater. Installing a small point-of-use water heater can help!

Q: Why Does My Water Go Cold After a Few Showers?
A: If you live in a large household or have frequent guests, you may have this problem. There are really two fixes for this problem: you can either install a larger tank water heater or upgrade your unit to a Continuous flow water heater system.

Q: Why Is My Hot Water Pressure So Low?
A: Do you have great water pressure on a cold setting, but it gets worse as you turn it to hot? Your pipes may be clogged with deposited minerals. If you already have this problem, you’ll need to contact a professional plumber to have them clear your pipes and flush out your water heater. Annual flushing of your heater will prevent the build-up that lowers your water pressure.

Q: The Emergency Plumber Is On Their Way. Now What?
A: You called your local plumbing team. As you wait for them to arrive, you should first shut off your water valve.
